Studying Medicine in Georgia

Pursuing a medical degree in Georgia, equivalent to an MBBS in India, offers a globally accredited 6-year MD program conducted entirely in English. The program is structured into two key phases:

Pre-clinical Years (Years 1–3)

During the initial phase, students gain a solid understanding of fundamental medical sciences such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology. This is achieved through engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and early exposure to patient care.

Clinical Years (Years 4–6)

The latter phase emphasizes practical training in hospital environments. Students participate in rotations across core departments, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, and Psychiatry, within affiliated hospitals and clinics.

Graduates of this program earn the title of “Physician” or “Medical Doctor (MD),” a qualification recognized worldwide.

With its cost-effective tuition, European-standard education, and internationally aligned curriculum, Georgia stands out as an ideal destination for aspiring doctors with global aspirations.
